Flint Group announced on the 1st of this month that its entire range of sheetfed printing inks are now free of mineral oil. As we know our Daihei Ink has developed an environmentally friendly ink that does not contain mineral oil-NON VOC series in 2015. Since its development, our product technology and series have been continuously improved. At present, in response to market demand, we have developed conventional NON-VOC four-color ink DAIICHI-AF NON VOC and SONTRA NON VOC, also have Pantone series spot colors of NON VOC. However, due to the high price of raw materials for NON VOC series products, the current market price of this product is higher than that of ordinary inks.And the current mainstream of the market is still mineral oil and vegetable oil, so it need time for the market to adjust and adapt.   Recent years have seen growing concerns over the environmental effects of mineral oil-based inks. For example, since January this year, France has prohibited using more than 1% mineral oil in printing inks for commercial and packaging applications with this limit reducing to just 0.1% by 2025, signaling the start of changing regulations worldwide.
